Nupore membranes are carefully treated Nitro Cellulose Membranes which are highly consistent and have uniform wicking rates to ensure improved accuracy and reproducibility of lateral flow test results. These membranes are directly cast on transparent polyester backing to improve the handling strength
Consistent Capillary Rates
Inconsistency in the wicking rates adversely affects the sensitivity of the test results. We carefully measure and control the pore sizes, porosity and pore size distribution to eliminate any inconsistencies and deliver an accurate test result
Clean Surface
Our membranes go through several layers of rigorous quality checks to ensure that the final product is dust & powder free and does not have any visual defects
Controlled Thickness
Thickness of the Membranes is expected to provide the correct tensile strength and at the same time be able to produce clearly visible control & test lines. We control this thickness with variations less than +-15μ to attain the right mix between the strength and result visiblilty
Complete Traceability
Every membrane item is characterized by a unique code across all production and quality check stages that enables retrieval of data as & when required
